User management is another fairly easy subject. All the options stem from the page /users/manage.php. Normal users have the power to alter their details (name, telephone numbers etc), and to change their password. Superusers have, in addition, the power to add/remove users, and to grant administrator privelidges. Also, if you have forgotten your password, an administrator can reset your password.

Every user has a default page (that can be accessed through this page). This lists (if you have added the relevant information) your latest quant-ph papers, academic biography and contact details (which you can chose to hide from people who don't have a log-on on the website), as well as providing a link to your web pages, if you've set them up.

One of the options is to add a photo. We would like every member of the group to do this (I'm sure Daniel will be happy to take a photo of you). Upload it using the file manager in the normal way. Once you've done that, return to the user management page and fill in the filename of your photo. This will probably be of the form /users/your_username/filename.jpg. If you have problems with this, just send your photo to Alastair Kay, and he'll do it for you.
