Mathematical modelling and control theory of quantum information processing (QIP).
I am particularly interested in the optimisation of silicon-based and optical QIP architectures through:
- Geometric control theory for optimal control
- Numerical modelling and discretisation of control schemes
- Monotonically convergent control algorithms
- Stochastic modelling of quantum noise
