Oktoberfest-Munich 25/9-2/10/2002
After finishing my thesis, and just before starting a post-doc at
DAMTP Cambridge, Vera (ex-Squitchey Lane housemate) invited me over to
Munich to attaend Oktoberfest, along with her medical friends (me being
the only fake-doctor:). I had a wonderful time, drank lots of good
Bavarian beer, ate many wurst mit semmel, and tried to capture a small bit
of what I saw.

Tech. Notes
Colour photos were taken using Fuji Sensia 400 slide film, scanned at
4000dpi 14bit/channel, cropped, colour corrected, downsized and sharpened.
I used a Minolta Dynax 7 with either an AF 24-105mm/3.5-4.5 zoom lens or
AF 50mm/1.4 fixed focal length lens.
The pictures taken indoors have been heavily colour corrected and so
may seem unnatural. In some case, I have applied an increase in
saturation.
Black and White photos were taken on Fuji Acros 100 film, processed in
Microphen 21 degrees for 7mins. Scanned at 4000dpi 14bit monochrome
positive, inverted equalised and curve adjustments made. Some have been
masked, dodged and burned.
